Anatomy of Type

Hey there it's Simply Ann and in class we learn the anatomy of type.
Typography is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language legible, readable, and appealing when displayed.Type designers have a specialized vocabulary to talk about the different parts of letters, and as a part of the program we got to familiarize our self with this vocabulary. In the beginning, In class we watch a video to make to help understand. The video made it easier to communicate about typefaces and their characteristics. It is important to learn the anatomy of type as a designer to help educate your eye to recognize the underlying structure of various designs and the differences among them. It interesting process to understand with all of the different types of vocabulary but I am glad I got to know a little about it, thanks for reading
