Video Production- Semester Final

What did you do this semester?

Feature story- This semester we did a feature story over a person of our choosing from ONW. The project took about a couple of weeks like most of our videos we do in class. Some challenges i faced were getting the video done on time. This is because i was gone for most of the week that we were doing this video. Along with that the video that I filmed didn't have audio so i had to do it over again. Some feedback that i got was that the shoots I had gotten of my subject were good. Along the way i learned how to multiple things such as how to set the audio, and how to use white-balance. Overall my video was satisfactory, I didn't like it as much as my others.

1 in 2000- Our assignment for this video was to interview someone on there summer. This one took me a week to do. Some challenges I faced were getting the location that i wanted, but luckily my partner and I locked it down before anyone else. Along the way i learned to always have headphones and replay your clips to make sure you have sound. Feedback that i was given was that they like the use of titles in my video. Overall i enjoyed this video a lot because we got it filmed on time and everything went smoothly. 

How did you use your time?

I use my time for the most part efficiently. To stay productive I listen to inspiring music aka Beyonce to keep me on task, although sometimes i do get distracted by friends. Even when i'm not Video Production  i still watch videos on how to do certain things in premiere pro.

Strengths?

My areas of strengths in Video Production is my creative mind, and effort. Coming up with ideas are easy for me. If i am not done working on a video I will stay after school as much as i need to get it done.

Areas of improvement?

My areas of improvement would be time management, making sure i turn in everything on time and turn in my projects to google classroom. To improve this i will set a reminder on my phone daily to finish or turn something in, in addition to coming in after school. 

Summary

What i loved most about this semester in video are my classmates and the filming the videos. if i could change anything about this semester i wouldn't. Goals for next semester is to turn all my future videos on time. Overall i really am happy with the class i was put in and hopeful for this to continue.
